The God They Kept Secret

Who You Are

Years, decades, millennia, eons? No one knows how long they have slumbered, deep in their earthen tomb. Prophecy foretold their return, but that prophecy--the truth--was kept from the masses.

The Shadow Government built their skyscraper over top the tomb, hoping to find a way to trap, and harness the power of the God They Kept Secret.

Now you're awake but your power is still recovering. You remember little of the old world, the only thought is that of escape. Freedom. What you have dreamt of all these long years. Its your chance. Take it.

One Shot Showdown

The game is about a cyclopes that shoots their eye creating a platform that can be stood atop. This works into the theme of One-ness as there is one eye that you shoot and recall.

Make a full game from this and we're having a deal!

I wish! I'm glad you liked it though :)

Nice level design, cool art too. I couldn’t get the squint to work but had fun playing until that part. Great job!

Thanks for playing! You should just have to hold the squint button for the duration the eye is inside of the spikes and you can release it once it's outside. If there's an issue though I'd love to know about it so I can fix it!

It works more like a blink for me, it blinks when I release the right click. I can’t hold to keep it.

Weird! I haven't seen that issue before. What's your browser and OS? I've only tested on Windows and Firefox and Chrome

I’m on Mac, using Arc (a Chrome-based browser)
